What is more unpleasant than a stuffy nose? No matter how often you blow your nose: it just doesn’t help; your nose remains irrevocably blocked. Fortunately, there are some methods you can use to get fast and effective relief.

We’ll show you two natural methods that seem crazy at first glance to unclog your nose, but they are highly effective!

The first method activates the deeper structures of the nose, while the second targets the brain and clears your sinuses within minutes. Just give it a try!

Method 1: Using your tongue to help your nose
The first method is to press the tip of your tongue against the roof of your mouth for a few moments. Then let go. Press two of your fingers (middle and index fingers together) on your forehead, right between your eyebrows. Perform the movement for 20 seconds.

How does the exercise work? This gesture actuates the vomer bone located in the back and lower part of the nasal cavity. The repeated movement from front to back unblocks what is blocked in the nasal cavity. This is a trick that can be used anywhere, anytime.

Method 2: The brain listens to the nose
The second way to unblock your nose without using a spray or medication is also straightforward. You need to tilt your head back slightly and hold your nose while holding your breath for as long as possible.

You will feel at first that you are adding more evil to the evil. But this is only temporary. As soon as you can’t stand it anymore, let go and take a deep breath. The sinuses are clear again!

So how does this technique work? When you use it, you send an SOS to the brain: “I can’t breathe anymore.” Your survival mechanism then clears the sinuses so you can breathe again.

Once again, nature reminds us that our bodies are incredible machines that work very well – even when we have nasopharyngitis!

Learn to blow your nose properly
Did you know there are good (and especially bad) ways to blow your nose? If you don’t do it right, your nose is blocked, and infectious mucus can get into your ears, sinuses, and throat, which can lead to several illnesses far more unpleasant than constantly runny nostrils.

To blow your nose correctly, don’t blow too hard into your handkerchief. Hold one nostril closed, then the other, without tilting your head in any direction. And of course, you should prefer disposable clothes that you can throw away immediately and wash your hands afterward. This will prevent the spread of pathogens and the infection of others.
